The traditional and the most popular way to cook momo is to steam them in a steamer.
- 1 package Himalayan momo
- 2 packets Himalayan momo sauce (sesame and chili sauce)
Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil over high heat. Take the sauce packets out of the package and thaw them in warm water.
Place a steamer basket in the pot, making sure that the water does not touch the bottom of the basket.
Place the Himalayan momo in the steamer basket in a single layer.
Cover the pot with a lid and steam the momo for 8-10 minutes, or until heated through.
Remove the steamer basket from the pot and serve the momo and sauces. Enjoy!
Note: Cooking times may vary based on the quantity of the momo being cooked and the heat of the steam.
