Here is a recipe for chili momo using Himalayan momo:
- 1 package Himalayan momo
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 small red chili pepper, seeded and finely diced
Cook the Himalayan momo according to the package instructions. (Steam, Airfry etc)
Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan/skillet/wok over medium heat for a minute. Add the garlic and chili flakes. Mix it for 10-15 secs.
Add the bell peppers and onions. Saute´ for about 3 minutes to soften.
Add steamed or fried Himalayan momo to the pan. Pour garlic chili sauce (red packet) over the momo and toss the momo around the pan until all the momos are completely coated with the sauce. Cook for 5 minutes.
Serve the chili momo hot, garnished with chopped green onions or cilantro if desired. Enjoy!
